🌟 Lakes Lift off  School Readiness Program 🌟
Preparing young learners for a confident start to school!

Is your child starting school soon? The Lakes Lift off Program is designed to help children build the essential skills they need for a smooth and successful transition to Prep.


Term 2
  • Thursday 15th May - 2:30pm – 3.00pm
  • Wednesday 28th May - 9:30am – 10.00am
  • Thursday 12th June - 2:30pm – 3.00pm
  • Wednesday 25th June - 9:30am – 10.00am
Term 3
  • Thursday 31st July - 2:30pm – 3.00pm
  • Wednesday 13th August - 9:30am – 10.00am
  • Thursday 28th August - 2:30pm – 3.00pm
  • Wednesday 10th September- 9:30am – 10.00am

 Our Program Focuses On:
🎨 Fine Motor Skills – Strengthening hands for writing, cutting, and drawing.
🗣️ Language & Communication – Expanding vocabulary, listening skills, and speaking confidence.
🤝 Social & Emotional Skills – Encouraging independence, resilience, and making friends.
🔢 Early Numeracy & Literacy – Recognizing letters, sounds, numbers, and patterns.
🏃 Gross Motor Development – Building coordination, balance, and confidence in movement.
🎒 School Routines & Independence – Learning to follow instructions, manage belongings, and navigate a school setting.

Our sessions are held in a cosy, small classroom setting, designed to help children feel comfortable and supported as they explore school life.

The Lakes Lift Off Program is created and led by experienced Prep teachers who understand the skills and confidence children need for a smooth transition to school.

Performing Arts Showcase Night

This showcase is for students who have studied Performing Arts across Primary and Secondary this Semester.

The Lakes South Morang College Fundraising Committee have organised with Tony’s Pies of Essendon to conduct a fundraising pie drive. Tony’s Pie’s will supply us with a range of their freshly baked pies, pasties, quiches and sausage rolls on Friday July 25th, 2025.
​
  • All the products will be freshly baked and will be suitable to go straight into the freezer if you wish.
  • Order up BIG - Remember the more you order the more we make!
  • Orders will be delivered to Primary classrooms prior to 3.15pm dismissal.
  • Secondary orders will be available for collection from the Primary office from 3.00pm.
  • Funds received will go towards purchasing outdoor activities for both campuses!
