Term 3:

The Lakes South Morang College would like to invite you to join us for a fun music and action-based program to prepare your child for reading, writing, speaking and listening in their first year of school.

Details:

Active phonemic awareness session designed to enhance the ability to identify, isolate, manipulate, and blend individual phonemes (the smallest units of sound) in words - a fundamental skill that supports reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
This session is free of charge and available to all enrolled families, and any other families looking to support their pre-prep learners (kinder, pre-school, younger siblings, friends etc.).
Families stay with their child during the session to join in on the fun and learn ways to help support and guide their child with their phonemic development.

The Lakes South Morang College is raising funds to help provide care packages for students and families in our College community affected by loss and grief. Principals, Teachers, Education Support Staff and School Councillors will be participating by shaving their hair for this worthy cause, with all proceeds going directly to students and families in need! You can make a difference too and show your support by donating to the shave!

Come see The Lakes South Morang College Primary Campus Art Show. It will be held in the Learning Street during Primary Learner Review Meetings. Have a look at some of the great artworks made by Lakes students!

Whole School

Our SRC students have organised a whole school Footy Day on Thursday 19th September.

Primary and Secondary students are encouraged to dress up in their AFL, soccer, netball or any other sport themed clothes.

Please bring a gold coin donation. Money will go towards outdoor seating for both the Primary and Secondary campus.
